Annie Andrews Graduates from Leadership South Carolina, Class of 2022

Leadership South Carolina (LSC) works with leaders across the state to strengthen South Carolina's future through immersive, hands-on programming exploring critical issues such as economic development, education, the environment, government, health and human services, and inclusive leadership.

Since 1979, LSC has offered transformative programs to current and emerging leaders from every region of the state, bringing together individuals from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors across eight months of sessions held in locations throughout South Carolina. Each year, only 50 to 55 participants are selected for LSC’s prestigious Core Program, joining a network of more than 1,800 alumni who represent every corner of the state.

Annie Andrews graduated from Leadership South Carolina as a member of the Class of 2022, completing the program’s statewide exploration of the issues shaping South Carolina’s future.

Annie’s participation in Leadership South Carolina reflects the same values she brings to her work at Annie Andrews Law. Representing families through catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases has shown her firsthand how interconnected issues like health care, government, and community resources shape people’s lives, often at their most difficult moments. LSC‘s comprehensive approach to understanding those connections and its focus on turning knowledge into action mirror the way Annie approaches advocacy for her clients: informed, collaborative, and focused on real, lasting outcomes for the people and communities she serves.

Annie brings substantial trial experience to her practice, which has focused primarily on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases for half of her career.
Her litigation foundation was built at the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office, where she tried dozens of cases to verdict, developing the courtroom skills she now brings to complex civil matters. She later concentrated her practice exclusively in these areas at a mid-sized firm before founding Annie Andrews Law, where she is dedicated to helping families seek justice after life-altering circumstances.
