One client told me he didn’t have a single book to read. That conversation turned into a drive that put over 4,000 books into juvenile facilities statewide — and into a civil rights lawsuit that shut down a fifty-year-old detention center for good.
That’s the same fight I bring to every case today. My clients are rarely the most powerful people in the room. They’re people who were hurt, overlooked, or let down by someone who should have known better. That’s always been my corner of the courtroom.
