Annie Andrews Named to Charleston Business Magazine’s 2021 Women in Business

Annie Andrews of Annie Andrews Law was recognized in Charleston Business Magazine's 2021 Women in Business feature, published by Integrated Media Publishing.

Honorees are selected for their demonstrated leadership and the influence they have had within their industries and communities, offering readers a look at the women shaping business and professional life in the Lowcountry.

For Annie, the recognition reflected her leadership within the legal profession as she built a practice concentrated on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases.

Annie’s other honors include:
  • The 2021 Emerging Leader Award from the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association
  • The 2019 “Star of the Quarter” Award from the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division
  • South Carolina’s Juvenile Public Defender of the Year, awarded by the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense in 2019

Annie brings substantial trial experience to her practice, which has focused primarily on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases for half of her career.
Her litigation foundation was built at the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office, where she tried dozens of cases to verdict, developing the courtroom skills she now brings to complex civil matters. She later concentrated her practice exclusively in these areas at a mid-sized firm before founding Annie Andrews Law, where she is dedicated to helping families seek justice after life-altering circumstances.
